- Must complete and pass background check.
- Some knowledge of swimming and swim meets preferred.
- Must be available to work at all home meets, and away meets.
- Must be available to work at time trials and divisionals, and all home meets, also away meets if attending.
- Invitational meets are optional, but also advised if attending to volunteer to gain more experience.
- Must be fully knowledgeable of the NWAL Handbook, and complete online test as well as in person training.
- Does not need to attend Committee meetings.
- In Season Position.
- Liaises with the NWAL Team Rep prior to season starting to ensure all certification and background checks have been completed.
- Reports to the NWAL Team Head Referee.
- Volunteer Points Required – 6+ points.
- Must have some computer knowledge.
- Must be available to work all home and away meets, including time trials and divisionals.
- Training will be given to the successful candidate prior to the start of the season and during the season as required.
- Set-up job positions on Swimtopia for all upcoming meets for the season.
- Must be fully knowledgeable of all volunteer positions on the team as per team handbook.
- Responsible for fulfilling all volunteer positions for all meets (home and away), time trials, divisionals, invitationals and team parties.
- Works with Team Registrar on keeping track of volunteer hours throughout the season and ensuring that all parents have met their volunteer requirements by the end of the season.
- Fulfilling empty volunteer slots mid-week prior to meet.
- Contacting families who have not declared their swimmer for the meet and if attending assigning them a volunteer position, and also declaring their swimmer to the upcoming meet.
- Emailing volunteers prior to the swim meet to confirm positions with a brief description of job they have committed to.
- Responsible for checking all volunteers in at all meets.
- Oversee swimmers check-in and liaising with Clerk of Course/Vice President on no-shows.
- Overseeing volunteers throughout the duration of the meet and ensuring that volunteers are fulfilling their position as per the StoneGators handbook.
- Sourcing additional parents on the day of the meet to fill any vacant positions / no shows.
- Ensuring that all volunteers are in place during shift change.
- Coordinating with Concession and Equipment/Maintenance Coordinator’s to ensure that their staffing of volunteers for upcoming meets and events has been met prior to the Saturday before the meet.
- Creating and issuing volunteer lanyards, check-in sheets and team lead contact sheets, along with volunteer contact sheets for self.
- Allocating timing positions and any other volunteering requirements requested by the meet host for all invitational meets.
- Liaise with Volunteer Coordinators from opposing teams for all home and away meets to verify volunteer requirements and lane assignments.
- Responsible for overseeing the Volunteer Coordinator Assistant, delegate tasks on meet days and to grow and manage the role to be more effective.
- Liaising with NWAL Team Rep for all invitational meets and divisional meets for volunteer requirements.
- Reports to the Vice President.
- In Season Position with some out of season work on set-up.
- Position completes volunteer requirements for the season.
- Must be available to work all home and away meets, including time trials and divisionals.
- Shadows the Volunteer Coordinator at all swim meets.
- Assist with Volunteer Check-in on meet days.
- Ensures that volunteers are fulfilling their job roles.
- Takes direction from the Volunteer Coordinator.
- Steps in when Volunteer Coordinator is not available.
- Reports to the Volunteer Coordinator, or in their absence the Vice President.
- In Season Position.
- Position completes volunteer requirements for the season.
- Shift Leads will arrive at 6am to meet the Concessions Coordinator to begin set up.
- Shift Leads will help with planning and running a shift during all home meets and time trials.
- Shift Leads will assist the Concessions Coordinator and assist in overseeing the concessions volunteers at all home meets.
- Responsible for handling of food and drinks.
- Taking customer orders and processing through square app of accepting monies.
- Maintain a clean working environment.
- Does not need to attend Committee meetings.
- Reports to the Concessions Coordinator.
- In Season Position (may be asked to assist on a Friday evening).
- Volunteer Points – 1.5 points per meet.
- Shift Leads will arrive at event 42 and meet the Concessions Coordinator / 1st Shift Concessions Team Leads for handover, and be ready to start at event 43.
- Shift Leads will help with planning and running the shift during all home meets and time trials.
- Shift Leads will assist the Concessions Coordinator and oversee the concessions volunteers at all home meets.
- Responsible for handling of food and drinks.
- Maintain a clean working environment.
- Concessions Team Leads will remain to end of meet to ensure cleanup of concessions area, and packing up of all concessions equipment, drinks and food.
- Does not need to attend Committee meetings.
- Reports to the Concessions Coordinator.
- In Season Position (may be asked to assist on a Friday evening).
- Volunteer Points – 1.5 points per meet.
- Reports to the Grill Master.
- Assists with set-up and moving of the grill on day of the meet.
- Grilling burgers, hotdogs etc. for the concessions crew.
- Maintaining, clean and safe work environment.
- Does not need to attend Committee meetings.
- Reports to the Grill Master.

Points – 1.5 points per meet.
- This position will shadow and start training with current Meet Announcer/DJ John Veit throughout the 2024 season, then be solely responsible for 2025 onwards).
- Outgoing personality with a clear outgoing voice.
- Provides music and makes announcements at all home meets, time trials, pep rallies and end of season party.
- Attendance required for duration of all home meets, as well as StoneGators hosted divisional meets (if applicable).
- Responsible for maintaining and storing team owned equipment.
- Must be able to compile and provide their own playlist suitable for all families.
- Announce swim events and sponsors throughout the duration of meets.
- Make announcements as requested by a Board Member only.
- Reports to the Parent Liaison Board Member.
- In Season Position.
- Completes volunteer requirements.
- Coordinates with the Treasurer for arranging the following events:
- Responsible for arranging, setting up and overseeing of team events.
- Responsible for arranging set-up, clean-up, catering, and activities for parties.
- Purchasing Items for parties (expensed via team).
- Suggest and come up with ideas for social events for our families to grow the team as a community throughout the season.
- Reports to the Treasurer.

We have changed it this year to a 2 year commitment (previously 1 year). However we understand, that at the end of the season, if you find that the position is not for you, or you are moving on we will not hold you to your commitment.
